SAVE A CHILD’S HEART, a major international, non-profit organization dedicated to providing urgently needed pediatric heart surgery and after-care for indigent children from developing countries around the world, will present a special benefit concert featuring a lineup of major international stars in a special evening of music and entertainment. Actress and Goodwill Ambassador of IsraAid and Artists for Peace & Justice, Moran Atias, will be the master of ceremonies of Symphony of the Heart’s special benefit concert on Sunday, January 29th, 2017 at the Valley Performing Arts Center in Northridge at 7:30 pm.
Israel’s most celebrated female singing star, Rita, renowned worldwide for her unique voice, will be making a special trip from Israel to perform at the concert which will also feature Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester, The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony under the direction of noted conductor Dr. Noreen Green, the exceptionally talented 15 year old pianist/composer/song-writer Emily Bear, American-Israeli contemporary dance group Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble, singer/songwriter and peace advocate Liel Kolet, and Palestinian musical artist Ali Paris, Berklee College of Music’s youngest student to date, who also plays the qanun - an Arabic lap harp.
