Keshet Chaim is an American-Israeli contemporary dance company, dedicated to celebrating the inclusive spirit of Israeli culture and Judaism throughout the world. With melody, rhythm, and ethnic movement, artistic director Eytan Avisar draws from the timeless themes of Jewish Culture to preserve tradition and bring our stories to the stage.
Choreographer Kobi Rozenfeld fuses contemporary Israeli dance with Jewish folk dance traditions from across the Diaspora. Influenced by the multi-ethnic roots of Jewish music, art, poetry and culture, the dynamic, multi-faceted ensemble has been praised by international press for passion and originality. Karmagraphy is a Los Angeles based Bollywood Fusion dance company that was created to inspire a bridge between cultures through the art of dance. In seven exciting years, they have succeeded in bringing a palatable style of Indian dance to the western world. Our journey has led us to the creation of our love dance spectacular that connects Indian tradition and Western ideals.
Karmagraphy arose as a passion project, expressing the story of a woman who grew up in America with an Indian heritage, and has now blossomed into a new voice through the art of dance. Karmagraphy’s director/ owner, Kavita Rao produces distinctive contemporary dance styles. Internationally and regionally renowned for her choreography and teaching abilities, she conjures out of her world travels presenting characteristics of eastern and western dance.
