David Azulay, CEO

David Azulay, founder of Teev Events Inc., is recognized as the leading Israeli music Agent, Producer, and Manager in North America. David is dedicated to introducing American audiences to the most top quality, cutting edge, and diverse Israeli culture. He has worked with Jewish organizations, Universities, and mainstream music and cultural festivals throughout North, Central, and South America. David Azulay has been proclaimed by many as “the de-facto Minister of Culture for Israel” in the US. Most leading Israeli artists are represented by David Azulay at Teev Events. 

In addition to his work with Israeli artists, David Azulay has produced and managed events for many fortune 500 companies and organization throughout the US. Some of the most noticeable ones include the USTA US Open in Flushing Meadows, NY and the inauguration of President George W. Bush.

Genie Benson, Executive Producer

Genie Benson has worked with Teev Events since 1996.  She currently runs the West Coast office of Teev in Los Angeles.  Genie has worked on many projects and tours with David through the years including the production of Israel 60 at the Kodak Theatre, and all local LA shows with Teev artists.  In the last few years, she has started working on National tours.


Genie is also the Executive Director of the Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble. For 30 years, Keshet Chaim, Israeli contemporary dance company, has entertained audiences around the world. Drawing from the timeless themes of Jewish culture they have been praised for originality and inspiring performances. Keshet has created excitement and curiosity about Israeli culture through educational residencies and will continue to break-down barriers of difference through dance.


Genie’s connection to Teev came originally through Keshet Chaim.  As the dance group began to incorporate Israeli singers into their programs, she met David and for many years brought his artists for their LA productions.  Eventually this led to a partnership.  As Keshet Chaim’s Executive Director, Genie’s accomplishments include creating financial systems, developing promotional materials, creating new relationships with the concert dance community, utilizing consultants for artistic and marketing projects, and maintaining an ongoing relationship with the press. Genie is responsible for developing varied programming, working with the director of development on grant writing and fundraising as well as researching, hiring and coordinating artistic staff on all projects.  


Dori Roberts, Production Manager

Dori Roberts was born in Israel and has worked with Teev Events for over a decade. He is an experienced Sound Engineer, Production Manager, Technical Director and Tour Manager. Dori began his professional career working for a sound company as a sound engineer for various clubs and artists in New York City. He has worked in all fields in the entertainment industry from stage productions to TV shows, Gala dinners and conferences. Some of his credits include; Israel Idol, Dancing With The Stars,Israel, Voca People, The Aluminum show, Rita at the UN General Assembly, Times Of Israel Gala, World ORT Conference and Celebrate Israel Festival  just to mention a few. He has worked at some of the world prestigious venues; The Kodak Theatre, Radio City Music Hall and The Venetian Theatre.  



Leah Bleiweis, Producer

Leah began her career as a business advisor in the beauty industry, training salon and spa owners in operations management, sales techniques and retail presentation. In 2001, her entrepreneurial drive compelled her make a dramatic change, to develop new skills and relationships.  Leah managed the ICC Scottish Rite Auditorium, an international cultural center and a 1,800 seat theater in the heart of Los Angeles, working on major productions including: NAACP Awards, the Soul Train Music Awards; TV shows: Alias and The Practice; as well as various international artist's concerts. She subsequently assumed the role of, Director of Cultural Affairs for the Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles, acting as a liaison between the State of Israel and the local arts community. In addition, Leah has freelanced with wedding planner to the stars, Mindy Weiss Party Consultants, coordinating fundraisers, weddings and a variety of other events.


Combining all her various skills, in 2004, Leah opened 1000 Skies Inc., a public relations and production company specializing in brand building campaigns,  special event strategy, and marketing. Leah is also a producer for Teev Events, the premier management and booking agency dedicated to promoting Israeli artists around the world. As well, Leah serves as Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble’s Managing Director, overseeing the non-profit dance ensemble’s productions, tours and public image.


Gabriella Nejman, Executive Assistant

Gabriella Nejman can truly be called a citizen of the world and speaks English, Finnish and Hebrew. She was born in Helsinki, Finland and at the age of a year and a half moved to Israel. She also lived in South Africa, New Zealand and at the age of 17 she moved to Australia where she graduated with a Diploma in Performing Arts and Diligence Award from Dance World Studios. Her interest in the entertainment industry has been from a very young age, only at 16 years old she was a part of New Zealand largest events; Homegrown, Rock The Park, Westfield shows, Warriors NRL Rugby games and more. In 2012 Gabriella moved to Los Angeles to study at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, in her 1st year she got a role in a feature film “There Is Many Like Us” her role lead her to become an associate producer by arranging a production to film parts of the movie in Israel. In 2015 she joined Teev Events as an Executive Assistant.
