Teev Productions was founded in January, 1994 by two young Israeli Immigrants (David Azulay and Ephi Atia) that missed the Israeli culture they grew up with. They were smart enough to recognized that their personal longing for Israeli music and comedy is shared by many in their community and they decided to do something. Their first venture: booking the late Israeli talented actor and comedian Dudu Dotan for a Washington area show.

The Show was not a financial success but it arouse excitement as well as expectations of the community for more shows. It was enough to drive the two to continue to book and bring Israeli leading singers and groups to the area. Over the years, Ephi moved to New York exploring other opportunities but David continued with tenacity and stick-to-itiveness and Teev developed into a solid multi-faceted agency, managing, booking, and producing in the various genres of music, dance, and drama. From the Beginning Teev aimed on bringing high quality Israeli culture to help unite the American and Israeli Jewish communities by offering extraordinary events that they could enjoy together. Working with organizations such as the Embassy of Israel, the District of Columbia Jewish Community Center, The George Washington University and the Washington Jewish Week, Teev productions has brought some of Israel's finest entertainers to the Metro DC area. Some of the most popular concerts produced by Teev Productions have included Matti Caspi, Yehoram Gaon, Avi Toledano, Boaz Sharabi, Shalom Hanoch, Haim Moshe, Sarit Hadad, Chava Alberstein, Noa, Yehudit Ravitz, and Danny Sanderson.

David Azulay

David Azulay, founder of Teev Events Inc., is recognized as the leading Israeli music Agent, Producer, and Manager in North America. David is dedicated to introducing American audiences to the most top quality, cutting edge, and diverse Israeli culture. He has worked with Jewish organizations, Universities, and mainstream music and cultural festivals throughout North, Central, and South America. David Azulay has been proclaimed by many as “the de-facto Minister of Culture for Israel” in the US. Most leading Israeli artists are represented by David Azulay at Teev Events.
